Fri, 07/26/2019 - 15:05

The Summer SUP race series is well underway (still time to get involved). The first 3 races in the series have proved to be challenging and great fun.  If you are keen to take part, come down to Bray lake, log a time for a 2km paddle (once around the outside of the lake) and we will be happy to give you a time.

There are 2 more races to come in the Series, which everyone is welcome to participate in. The dates of the next races are:

Bray Lake Summer Series Race 4 - 11th August

Bray Lake Summer Series Race 5 - 8th September

Fri, 07/26/2019 - 15:05

Our N1SCO fun events are proving to be really popular this year, if you are keen to get involved in some fun, one-design SUP races then come and join in.  These events are all about fun and take place over short 50 meter distances. We have boards available for the races but if you own a N1SCO board please bring it along.

You don’t need to be super fit or experienced and if the weather is good, we finish off the evening with a social BBQ and maybe a beer!

For those of you who do not wish to take part in races, you are welcome to use your SUP Club Session to work on your skills.

Open Water Swimming 2019

Fri, 07/26/2019 - 15:05

Welcome to all new swimmers who have joined us this year, great to see more and more new swimmers every week.

The warm sunny weather, and the occasional rainy day to keep the lake topped up, means that the lake is ideal for swimming. The water is a warm 22 to 24 degrees with more people shedding their wetsuits.

This year we have added an extra Dyofix treatment to reduce the weeds and an extra round of straw to keep any algae at bay, helping to maintain good swimming conditions.

External changing rooms have also been opened and we hope you are all enjoying the added…
